Trying to Score (Assassins, #2) - Toni Aleo I was hoping to agree with all the positive review for this book, but I simply can't.
I can look past all the grammatical errors in the book, and there were A LOT.
What I cannot look past was I absolutely positively HATED Fallon, the female lead. Halfway through the book I never wished so hard that I could punch a fictional character. 3/4 of the way in the book I flat out couldn't stand her anymore. She doesn't truly "redeem" her personality until the very last pages of the book, and at that point I was just done.

I loved Lucas. He tried so hard. He put up with so much from Fallon. I think he is the reason I give this book 3 stars, as opposed to the 1.5 I would want to.

The story itself read like "been there, done that" but with a hockey twist. It was just OK. So that is what I rate it. OK.
